Biblical Core Course

God has given us many tools and different ways to get to know Him and His character, one of those tools is the Bible. Often times the Bible has been misused, neglected and misunderstood. It has been approached as a religious duty, devoid of life and excitement.

It is the goal of the Biblical Core Course (BCC) to help the Bible come alive to the student by showing that it is living and active, relative to today's modern society and able to change people’s thoughts and the attitude of their hearts. The BCC graduate should have an increased love and understanding of both studying and teaching the word, his or her own beliefs changed or shaped by applying God's word and the desire to study further.

BCC will teach you to study the Bible using many resources to examine the scriptures for what they actually say, setting aside our preconceived ideas so we can see the true message of the word of God in its fullness.

For three months, you will learn effective, creative and diverse methods for reading, interpreting and applying the scriptures, integrating the Word of God into your personal life. Tools such as drawing, painting, drama, music, group activities and more will help you effectively incorporate God's word into areas of evangelism, worship and intercession.

Students will also lead Bible study groups and practice their teaching and preaching skills, leading into a two month cross-cultural outreach, where you will have the opportunity and challenge to teach as well as apply the truths you have learned.
