We want to take this time to inform you of some major changes for YWAM @ Eagles Nest.
Over the last while there has been a growing desire in our hearts to be integrated in a broader community. We desire to be incarnational, to see that what we teach and believe is a part of our everyday lives as we interact and live with people of various beliefs and abilities.
For the last eight years we have operated from Eagles Nest Ranch, which is located 45 minutes outside the nearest city, which has limited our ability to practically live out this desire. Our leadership team, along with our staff, have spent much time praying and considering before the Lord and feel that we are to relocate the current ministry to Blackfalds, Alberta.
Blackfalds is a central Alberta town where we are presently renovating an old building into a coffee house. When we began the renovation process we thought it would be an extension of our ministry out of the ranch, now it is in place to become the hub.
We will continue to offer all the current schools, of course with some changes that will allow the staff and students to be involved in the community. We believe it will bring a greater depth and holistic approach to that which is being taught and thereby teaching all of us how to live a lifestyle that is honoring and reflective of Jesus.
As we transition we will be updating our information from Eagles Nest Ranch to Blackfalds, including how to contact us and where to send any school inquiries and applications.
